I grew up in a tropical climate with very high temperatures and very oily skin which I didn't appreciate until moving later in life to Canada with freezing temperatures and experienced dry skin. 

Over the past 10 years living in Canada and experiencing dry, rough patches on my skin, there were no products in the Pharmacies or anywhere that was satisfying and worked for my dry skin, but instead gave me skin irritations and left my skin dry again in less than an hour. 

It was very sad that I couldn't get a very good hydrating and moisturizing lotion or cream to treat my dry skin. Each year that passed my skin got worst with dark patches due to very dry skin, this mostly resulted during the harsh winter months.

After months went by with more and more harsh winter months I got frastrated with my ashy dry skin symptoms and began thinking of ways to resolve my skin problem. 

I started watching YouTube videos on formulation of Body Butters, Body Scrubs, Body Polishes and Body Oils. Also did tons of research on Skin Care product formulations. 

After, with all the satisfactory of years of research and all the knowledge acquired,  I began formulating in small batches in my kitchen until it was perfected. My skin was happy again and have its natural glow and now I can never experienced dry, ashy skin again because I have formulated my own skin care products to keep my skin nourished, hydrated, healthy and glowing.  

One day I thought to myself, "but wait a minute" I can help many people to resolve their dry, ashy skin problems too. This is how I decided to go about, starting my own skin care line and naming it after my daughter Émilie as in "Émilie Cosmétique". We are all about Self Love so we formulated skin care products that will help to nourish, hydrate, moisturize and to keep that natural glow in your skin.
